The LG SN6Y has far exceeded my expectations. It mounted beautifully to my wall just below the tv and looks so classy. I paired it with the LG SPK8-S 2.0 Channel Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit for a truly full 5.1 surround sound. Watching a film a formula one race a rodeo or a football game is now a true theater experience. Its 420 watts of power easily fills a large room with crystal clear sound.

Even though the LG OLED TV has an amazing picture I felt I was having to turn up the volume a little too much for comfortable listening. By adding the 3.1 LG High Res Audio Sound Bar With DTS VirtualX the sound is crisp and clear with a theater type sound to it

Overall I am very happy with the LG SN6Y Sound Bar. Right out of the box I was very impressed with the design that features sleek curved lines and hidden controls. Even the freestanding subwoofer is very clean looking and blends well with our decor. Set up was a breeze you basically just plug in and pair with your television and once paired the entire system delivers rich sound tailored to your content. Every detail is heard more clearly music background noise and especially dialogue which I usually have trouble hearing. I like that with the additional subwoofer you can create a unique surround sound experience by placing the speaker anywhere youd like although I did notice that when placed near our router the wifi signal was slightly affected which is clearly stated in the setup instructions so keep this in mind when deciding where to place your subwoofer. I frequently use the system to stream music and have noticed a huge difference in sound clarity and depth of sound with the LG soundbar. I hear details and arrangements in my music that I never noticed before it feels as though Im listening to the artists live. If youre looking for sound perfection in a sleek audio setup that you can customize to your space I would highly recommend the LG SN6Y Sound Bar.

The LG Soundbar SN6Y 3.1 was easy to install on my LG television. It came with the optical cord which I was happy about. The instructions were easy to follow and now I am enjoying quality sound in my bedroom. 10/16 Listened to music using my soundbar today The sound is clear and magnificent. Read the instructions for installation and it was very easy. Connecting to my LG TV was very easy bluetooth made it simple. I feel it does add much more sound to already installed sound on tv. I tried different functions on control but it did not seem to make too much of a difference. I have it installed on tv in family room which is quite large with high ceilings so this may be a cause for sound variation. The variety of sound modes makes it easy for you to choose movies sports etc. Remote control is simple and easy to use as well as using the tv remote. Now I can enjoy my tv viewing to the extreme. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

The previous shipment had some parts missing but i have received replacement and when i connected it i was amaze to hear such a clear sound. Very easy to install and pair the subwoofer. The look is very beautiful as well but the sound is great. You will hear a clear surround sound like you are in a movie theater. The entire family love it so much. I played kids music for our little one and we all loved it. I will recommend it to every household. Easy Bluetooth connection.

This soundbar and sub was really easy to instal and get attached to the tv The issue ive notticed is it seems like the Bass and deep sound goes in and out randomly It wasnt a specific show bc its happened multiple times. The surround sound is there but it does sound like it goes in and out a bit wires are all good to. So im not sure why its in and out The sound is very clear and comes out great Im still learning on how to adjust the sounds so hopefully this is just a settings issue on my part I would say the price is rather high for what it is youre mostly paying for the name of the product As well the shipping is not very discreet. It has a huge picture on the side of the box as to what it is. But over satisfied with the product Also it did take a little longer than expected to connect my cable remote with the sound bar so then Id only have to use 1 remote.

I am not an audiophile-in fact I had convinced myself that sound quality did not matter if you were watching TV. I was wrong This soundbar and subwoofer were packaged well. Never having wireless anything before other than my tablet and computer I was a little surprised and worried about the extras in the box. I had not reason to be concerned. The installation and setup were well explained in the instructions and were very easy. I am totally blown away by the ease of use the intuitiveness of use and the sound quality. We have an LG TV and the integration with it was seamless. The sound bar is unobtrusive but the sound is clear crisp. The wireless subwoofer really packs a punch. The remote is easy to use. We watch everything with the sound system on now - from game shows to the news to moveis and sports. It really makes a difference and we are truly enjoying out viewing-listening experience

Most flat screen TVs have mediocre sound and require the use of sound bars to get sound that matches the picture quality. This sound bar definitely delivers the sound and more The 3.1 setup is perfect for our use that center channel is what gives us the clear voice that is usually lost on most content these days. The bass is deep but not too overbearing. The installation and setup was extremely easy and the sub being wireless allows you to move it around your room. If you want a great sounding soundbar without any gimmicks get this one

Theater-like experience

When receiving my item I immediately notice how compact and easy it was to safely remove the subwoofer and sound bar from the box. I am glad no scissors or cutting knife were required. Once placing the soundbar and subwoofer in place the rest of the cables looked noticeably obvious when hooking up. My initial concern was having to make a trip to my local electronic shop to purchase a Optical Fiber Cable to insure the best sound fortunately the box included everything necessary. After 2 minutes max of making the right connections I was ready for action. The remote controler is simple comfortable and very user friendly. The first thing I did once set-up was complete was blast this bad boy to really test out the sound quality and it did not disappoint. Loud when I needed it and crystal clear especially when gaming. I have not felt the need to set the volume pass 10 because even though it isnt crazy loud the sound bar transmit the sounds throughout my whole living room which is a plus. The Sound Effect function on the control makes it simple to adjust the sound quality whenever I want to blast the bass. All and all I LOVE IT.

Got my first soundbar and I for this I tried the LG Soundbar SLM6Y at first I was disappointed because the packaging was not fully closed when it was delivered but once I took a look inside I was glad nothing was missing. Right out of the box everything was packaged carefully with individual bags and wrapped neatly. It included the batteries for the remote the remote optical audio cable instructions and even a cutout as a guide for the installation of the bar. It was easy to pair with my phone via Bluetooth and I thought there was going to be extra steps for the subwoofer but I just plugged into the wall and it connected by itself right away both combined sound amazing. I have it in a room that is about 20 by 15 and the 420 watts is enough for watching TV or listening to music. After adjusting the bass and treble it sounded even better the HDMI ARC connection makes it easy for my TV to control the soundbar so I only use the remote to make minor adjustments but other than that I can control the volume and power from the TV the volume can be adjusted from my phone while playing music. The 3.1 channel sound is better than expected and with the dts virtual X helps the sound for a better experience. Overall great design value and its ready for the additional wireless speakers SPK8-S to have the surround sound and I will consider getting them soon stay tuned for that video. The bar could use a better box that stays closed.

The LG SN6y is a nice little soundbar. This one is just the 3.1 model but you have the option of adding more surround sound speakers to give you a 5.1 ch sound experience. This particular model just comes with the sound bar and a sub woofer again with the option of adding more speakers to it later. It boasts delivering dimensional virtual sound with only 3.1 channels and DTS Virtual:X. As LG puts it: With DTS Virtual:X you can transform any movie TV show or playlist into an immersive multidemsional audio experience. DTS Virtual:X envolops the listener with Virtual height and virtual surround channels plus enhanced bass and crystal clear dialogue. Sounds all nice and fancy hope it lives up to the hype. The soundbar has High resolution audio and uses adaptive sound control to automatically adjust sound levels bringing out treble or bass based on what youre watching. You can connect this soundbar to your TV via bluetooth optical cable or HDMI. There are 4 sound modes on this sound bar: AI Sound Pro Bass Blast Bass Blast+ and DTS Virtual:X. Ive only tried a couple of the sound modes so far and I like what I hear. The sound bar is compatible with some TV Remotes It has Smartphone remote app Auto volume leveler and Dynamic Range Control both of which are controlled from within the app. It supports HDMI Audio Return Channel or ARC for short. It can handle Firmware updates over the air has a nightmode lcd display auto-dimmer and simplink. The soundbar has a width or length of almost 42 long 2.2 height and 3.4 deep. While the subwoofer measures at 7.1 width 15.4 height and 11.5 deep. So far Ive used the sound bar for watching movies tv shows and listening to music and have been pleased with the quality of the sound coming out of it. Our current audio system is a cabling nightmare so swapping that out for this soundbar will be a welcomed delight.
